Best Blog on WordPress searches for and categorizes blogs on WordPress.com that are worthy of notice.
WordPress.com only lists the Top 10 blogs on the homepage and the 7 fastest growing blogs in the Dashboard.
It would be nice to get to know our WordPress neighbours and what they are writing about.
The Top Post and Latest Post are nice. But unless one watches the latest post closely, one probably misses a lot of them.
Since there is no blog directory, maybe this is a job for us the community.
Rules for addition are simple
- Not the top or fastest growing blog at point of inclusion.
- Not spam or testing.
- Contain at least 10 posts.
We had added rules for deletion (please report any).
- Any dead blog will be removed.
- Any blog turned evil will be deleted.
If you like to become part of the editorial team, leave a message, and ask to be added to the users list.

Nice ideas. The top 10 blogs and top 10 posts are typically the starting point for exploring new blogs – and because of this I suppose, make them even more “top”.
But often they aren’t really that interesting. It is more a matter of personal taste I guess… and maybe cultural differences as well.
So it is a good idea to promote good blogs which are not on the top lists…. Thank you, “Best blog on WordPress”.
Isn’t there a wordpress community that reviews the blogs out there ? Haven’t found one so far…

Well, it’s nice idea. Is there any idea to get update? And how do you select the top blog? What is the criteria to be top wordpress blog?
Technorati is a great place to look for blogs out there in the blogoshpere.
There was a blog or whatever about the county that I live in and I can’t remember the wordpress web address. Can you help me.This was about Montgomery County ,Missouri.I really enjoyed reading it.

I do not enjoy the top posts on the dashboard..and I am sure there are many others like me.
My blog is a fairly serious, informative one. It’s all my stuff. Sure, it’s India centric, but that should not be a problem? I think we are fairly global now.
