I would be very interested in being a regular contributer to best blog.
My blog focuses on the entrepreneur and presents material that can be beneficial.

  2. 2 Michael 14 November, 2006 at 10:03 am

I don’t know esarmiento you look a lot like spam.

  3. 3 paxrock 15 November, 2006 at 12:41 pm

The only bad thing about this theme, the form disappeared.

  4. 4 SparkBugg 16 November, 2006 at 1:40 pm

To get one’s blog seen, you guys suggest: “Be creative! Be persistent!”

At what point does creativity and persistence cross into inappropriateness?

For example, would posting “Please eat my blog http://www.sparkbugg.com” right here be creative, inappropriate, or neither?

    SparkBugg.com

    oh, yeah….SparkBugg.com.

BTW, check out SparkBugg.com (is that presistent, or annoying?…um, I think I know the answer).

  5. 5 SparkBugg 16 November, 2006 at 1:43 pm

How about posting a link that doesn’t work, because the ” was added to the URL? Is that subversive and paradoxical genius, or a careless mistake?

    who knows? Maybe http://www.sparkbugg.com

  6. 6 insearchoffootball 17 November, 2006 at 2:54 am

  7. 7 OuTiMe 19 November, 2006 at 6:03 am

Can I appear in the list of best blogs?

My blogs have a lot of HOWTOs (in Spanish) for Linux, and have a lot of views (#16 of the list ‘blogs of the day’: http://botd.wordpress.com/?lang=es); today I up about 15.

    Thanks

  8. 8 paxrock 21 November, 2006 at 10:18 am

OuTiMe, if you’re number 15 on the list there isn’t much need to be listed on Best Blog. Best Blog is more for searching out those quality blogs that don’t make there way onto the list. At least that’s my understanding of how we work here. Good luck all the same, I hope you do well.

  9. 9 Elaine 22 November, 2006 at 10:38 am

Hi. I’d like to contribute to Best Blog as a writer. I was hoping you’d need someone who can update the content from time to time. I browse WordPress.com weblogs several times and decided I wanted to comment on blogs which deserve praise. But if the position’s full, I’m cool. 😉

  10. 10 The Author Unknown 22 November, 2006 at 6:46 pm

Check out The Author Unknown blog. http://www.theauthorunknown.wordpress.com and http://www.theauthorunknown.com will soon point to it. Interesting blog on giving anonymously. And who is The Author Unknown?? Doesn’t matter. Should be everyone! Thanks…the author unknown

  11. 11 esarmiento 24 November, 2006 at 12:15 am

I don’t know how my blog is spam. One that promotes being an entrepreneur? I post ideas and how people can become better business owners. If you’re against that, how does one qualify as being a contributer?

  12. 12 Elaine 26 November, 2006 at 7:50 pm

Honestly, esarmiento, I don’t think your weblog looks ‘spam’ at all. Wonder why they thought that though.

  13. 13 Michael 27 November, 2006 at 12:12 am

Hi the reason why I think esarmiento’s site is spam is because his blog is associated with his own personal business website.

  16. 16 Nita 2 December, 2006 at 1:02 am

Hey guys I wonder if you could review my blog? My blog is fairly new (3 months) never gets listed in top posts, or top blogs and I feel I have something to say. All my writing is original.
I want to communicate with more people. If you feel my blog is worth it, can you list it?
I won the Blog of the Day Award but it has done nothing in terms of traffic for me. I get traffic mostly because of the comments I write on people’s blogs (a couple have proved to be a goldmine) and through google search and family and friends. Also some blog aggregators have picked up my feeds. I get some traffic from them, but it’s intermittent. I have more than 112 posts already though I started in September.

    Hi everybody
I was having an idea of reviewing music blogs and video blogs hosted on wordpress.com before I came across this site.

I saw that you guys have a similar idea and there is no need to create another site like this. Therefore, I’d be glad to join your editorial team if you allow me.

    Kind regards,
    crunk

A few questions from a blog idiot

How do you keep the spammers from eating you alive? i\’ve seen blogs with nothing but spam postings.

How do you keep some left wing extremist from posting racist or defamatory rhetoric? and if you cant stop them, what are you legally liabel when they do?

can viruses be posted to blogs?

  28. 28 the olive ream 25 January, 2007 at 3:11 pm

A real good idea !! I moved from Typepad to WordPress one month ago and I am very happy to belong to WorpPress Community. The “only” problem is that community seems to be sometimes invisible. So congratulations for your work 😉

  31. 31 Doug Hill 5 February, 2007 at 10:34 am

My poetry blog, wordcurrents, will be a year old on February 14.

In the past year, I have posted at least one of my own original poems every day, and theatre reviews when I see theatre. It might be worth a look: http://riverwriter.ca/wordcurrents/ I use WordPress 2.1 with the three column Wucoco theme.

Just a note about spam. This site needs to be de-spammed a bit, now and in general. I don’t know if it attracts more spam than most, but those messages seem to stay in the comments section way too long.

  33. 33 bloglily 26 March, 2007 at 2:24 am

Yargh! You’re absolutely right, David. We keep a very loose eye on things. I think we might want to do more strict comments moderation for a while, just to teach those spammers they’re not welcome. But thank you for noticing.

By the way, any interest in being a contributor?

    xo, BL

    Hello all

I would just like to say a belated thank you for featuring Standinaqueue on Bestblog. It was an honor indeed.

I was wondering if you could pop over and have a look at the new blog I’m writing for WildlifeDirect:

    http://www.wildlifedirect.org/maniocvalley

It is a wordpress blog and is a portal for all the other wildlife blogs that we have here in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as a few now in Kenya. I recommend, from the Blogroll, Gorilla Protection, Congo Rangers, Elie and the Mara Mobile Vet. Unit.

I realise that that is a lot of plugs, but I’m rather proud of what WildlifeDirect has become.

Thank you in advance, and keep up the good work.

    All the best

    William Deed

Hi: The young woman that said we are all Gods does not know what she is talking about. There are gods many and they are not our source, or HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
There is one God and HE is the only source of the universe, therefore cannot be witnessed in one person, one flower, one mountain etc….
It takes all of us in our true spiritual identity to express the one GOD. Notice, the word I use, express, that make us like God, not GOD.
Our identity is what we are needing to understand to find our light in the world. Our light is safety, direction, joy, fullfilment etc.
On my site you can read more. http://www.journey-book,com
It is not spam to add your personal URL here. Spam is to invade someone else s personal e-mail without permission to do so. Most spam is to push an unwanted product on us, and it takes up valuable time to delete it. Here you have the choice to visit the site or not to.
If you wish someone to talk to confidentially go to my site and in comments, you can talk. It will not be open to the public. I will answer you via your e-mail. I do not use anyone’s e-mail for personal purposes. You are safe to chat. Helen Nanney
