Blog de Luis M.

Hola! Spanish-language blogs are on our mind today at BestBlog. We found many great ones. Today’s highlight is Blog de Luis M. The post on map sites is — alone — worth taking a closer look. But there’s a lot more. Have fun checking it out.

It would seem that Best Blogs is rather biased in its categories. You don’t even give Christian and Religion bloggers a nod in the list; therefore, it seems we will never make the “best blogs” list.

Hi Bonnie, Thanks for bringing this up. We’ll be sure to keep our eyes out for blogs on the topic of religion — bestblogging is mostly a serendipitous process, but it’s often guided by just this sort of comment! But do note that we have a “faith” category, which would certainly seem to include fine blogging on religion but it hasn’t had enough attention, as you point out. Keep checking back and we’ll see what we can find! Best to you, BL

Just a small thought but a blog that has spanish language in it should have been reviewed using the same language. After all your review is in english and most people who speak and write in english, do not know spanish.

Basically, i am saying that audience for a review of a Spanish language blog would be spanish people and therefore the review should have been in Spanish as that is where your audience lies.

    Hope that was clear enough.

That was beautifully clear and you are absolutely correct. However, my written Spanish is so poor as to be incomprehensible, and in the interest of praising a blog that’s wonderful, I went with the language I best communicate in, written as clearly and simply as I could in order to allow Spanish speakers access to what I’ve said. My hope is that others will understand and forgive this. One of the difficult things about our world is that we don’t often enough share a common language. But it should not keep us from trying to reach out to each other. Best, BL

    Greetings and salutations,

I must agree with bonnieq – you do seem to have a bias in your blog selection. I’m not after religious blogs but investment / business blogs. I realise that these subjects bore the average reader to tears but hell throw a monkey a banana.

Besides that, I find your blog very useful.

    Until next time,

Greetings and Salutations to you as well, dear M.M., There are a number of Best Blog editors, and I’ll get the word out that there’s been a loud call for blogs about business and investments. But no boring-to-tears blogs allowed! Our view here at BestBlog is that any subject, handled by a skillful blogger, should make you sit up straighter and pay attention. That’s what makes a blog a best blog! We’ll do some looking. Thanks for the suggestion, and keep checking back in. Best, BL
